It’s been a long time since I’ve talked to guitar legend Alex Skolnick. Actually, I think the last time was around 1991. I did touch on that a little near the end. Alex is going to be in town with his band, Testament, Friday night at the Majestic Theater after an appearance at Rock City in Livonia at 33425 Five mile between 1-3pm.

We discussed all the recent rock n roll deaths, joining Testament at the age of 16, his eclectic musical tastes, and tons more. He also talked about his guitar hero Randy Rhoades and what he would and would not talk to him about if he had the chance.
What a great guitarist and an easy guy to talk to.
