Paul Gilham/Getty ImagesI have had this stance for years, marriage proposals at sporting events is one of the worst ideas a man can have. You have to first make sure the woman is around to see the big screen. Then you have to be 100 percent sure she will say yes. This Red Sox fan found out ball park proposals are not the best idea.
Red Sox Fan Proposal Turns Awkward Quickly
As seen in the video and reported in the story from People, the man seems to have his proposal shut down quickly. It took place at the Boston Red Sox game on Sunday afternoon. You can see a couple pop up on the jumbotron, which mostly means one thing, someone is getting proposed to. The screen showed a man named Douglas get down on one knee and ask the question to his girlfriend Sereh.
Right away you can tell that Sereh is not thrilled about what Douglas is doing. She looks confused and not thrilled, finally we see what looks like her saying, "I don't know". After that things got awkward, the couple can be seen kissing after but nothing more.
