75lbs is a lot of marijuana. That's certainly more than some personal use. That Texas man has been identified as 23-year-old Harrison O'Neill Tiernan and he was arrested on a charge of trafficking cannabis, per The New York Post. Texas Stoner Caught With 75lbs Of Marijuana At Miami Airport
Sounds like the Texas Stoner was trying to head to London Heathrow Airport but was stopped by US Customers and Border Protection. They found 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing the herb in 2 of his bags and the herb was confirmed to be marijuana.
The New York Post reports that the case was handed to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office from the Department of Homeland Security because it didn't meet the federal threshold. That's wild that 75lbs isn't enough to meet the threshold!
