Skier Seen Dangling By Arms From Ski Lift At Big Bear

Video of a skier dangling her her arms from a ski lift at Big Bear is going viral online. This is every skier's nightmare!

In fact, this is the kind of stuff that keeps a lot of people from trying skiing or snowboarding. It's not always the sport itself--but the scary ski lift. How do you get on it? How do you get off it? How do you stay on it and not fall? Those are common questions that will cross people's minds. People rarely fall off of the ski lifts but that doesn't mean it never happens. Check out a video report shared by NBCLA on YouTube below.

Big Bear is a popular ski resort in California. NBCLA reports that 21-year-old twins, Roula and Raizel De Miranda-Arce, were on the third run of the day when Roula slipped and the video is now going viral on social media.

See an Instagram video here. According to NBCLA, ski resort personnel said it all happened around 3pm and safety protocols were not followed. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. She was eventually lowered safely to the ground. That had to have been an incredibly scary moment!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
