If you try to bail a friend out of trouble it's very important to make sure you don't end up in trouble with them. That would mean you don't want to use any sort of fake money. Don't use counterfeit money, don't use movie money, and don't use Monopoly money. You'll just end up in trouble like your friend. That's now the reality for this Kentucky woman in Hopkins County who's now facing felony charges tied to the incident.
Kentucky Woman Tries To Pay Friend's Bail With Movie Money
According to WEVV, 39-year-old Felicia Howard went to the Hopkins County Jail to post bond for Jeffrey Kemble. Reports say she tried to use 14 100-dollar bills to pay bond and the jail staff quickly released that something wasn't right.
Major Jason McKnight tells WEVV, "Well, my understanding is, it was, motion picture money. So, it says that on the bill--'for movie purposes only' or whatever, so, that kind of tipped them off pretty quickly."
