Warrants have been issued for thieves accused of breaking through a wall and stealing $7k worth of sneakers from a Georgia Foot Locker. That's a lot of shoes!

A $7k shoe collection is a nice thing to have--especially if you don't have to pay for it. Sneakerheads spend thousands to get their hands on unique pairs of shoes and these thieves didn't have to pay a dime--at least not yet. The incident happened at Town Center Mall in Marietta, Georgia. Law enforcement thinks it could be related to similar crimes that have happened in other states and say it was an "elaborate crime, like something out of a movie," per Yahoo!

According to Yahoo!, a Foot Locker employee saw shoeboxes scattered everywhere in the store and noticed a hole in the wall of the back of the stockroom. That hole ended up leading to an abandoned Sears that police now believe the suspects used to get inside of the Foot Locker, per Yahoo!

2 of the 3 suspects accused of breaking into the mall have been identified. Police believe these same suspects have been committing similar crimes in other jurisdictions. One of the suspects, Kolbe Reeves, was one of the suspects in a smash-and-grab in Albany, Georgia, per Yahoo! Tyrone Howard is one of 3 suspects tied to a $1M organized shoe theft ring that included a theft in Florida, per Yahoo! That time, police say they broke in through the roof! Sounds like these guys are some pros!

Warrants for both Reeves and Howard have been issued in Cobb County. Both of the suspects live in Florida.

That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
