How many times have we talked about a story like this on Dave & Chuck The Freak? It seems like it happens far more often than it should. If you're going to try to get revenge on someone by doing something to their car--you have to make sure it's actually their car. Otherwise, you're going to get in trouble and your revenge would have been for nothing. That's now the case for this Florida man who was arrested after destroying a car outside of an Ormond-by-the-Sea Publix he believed belonged to his ex...but was actually the car of a Publix employee inside, per Yahoo!.

According to Yahoo!, that Florida man has been identified as 37-year-old Justin Allen. He took a hammer to the wrong SUV! Terrible mistake to make. Reports say Allen had been pointing at every white SUV that drove by thinking it belonged to his ex even though they were different makes and models. The officers believed he was on drugs at the time, per Yahoo!
Allen was arrested on charges including: burglary, possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief over $1k, and possession of cocaine and paraphernalia, per Yahoo! Probably best to just let things go. The best revenge is living a happy and fulfilled life, right?
You can see Allen's mugshot provided by the Volusia County Jail below.
