You'd never expect this to happen when you go out for some ice fishing. You'd expect some alone time to sit with your thoughts in silence and tranquility. Getting assaulted is probably the last thing on your mind. According to CBC, it happened at Chemong Lake near Peterborough.

According to CBC, the suspect said the person was fishing too close before he allegedly assaulted them. The suspect, a man from Ennismore, was arrested and is expected to appear in court next month.
