I imagine finding out that your photo is being used by scammers to attract women would be a mixed bag of emotion. On one hand, you probably feel bad and guilty that your face and likeness are being used to hurt people. On the other hand, you might feel kind of flattered that they chose you. It's your face that they think will attract lots of women to help them scam people. That might feel kind of good, but is it enough to overcome all the negative feelings? 63-Year-Old California Man Says Scammers Have Been Using His Picture To Attract Women

According to ABC7, that California man is 63-year-old Scott Cole from Palm Springs, California. He's a yoga and fitness trainer so that makes sense. He says he's been the center of a romance scam nightmare since 2010. That's a long time! Sounds like people have been scammed by his picture as far as Germany! That's wild.

Sounds like he's tried to put an end to it but has been unable to stop it. People are saying there's no end in sight, per ABC7. Read more about this very unique story here. Hopefully this never happens to you (as flattering as it may be).

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
