A South Carolina couple saved a drowning raccoon using a traffic cone! That's some pretty smart thinking and it saved a life!

If you saw a raccoon drowning what would you do? Saving it yourself could be a risky move. So, you might have to get creative. What can you use to save it? Well, if you find yourself in this situation (hopefully you don't) then maybe try to remember that a traffic cone can work! The South Carolina couple saw it struggling and lowered the cone down for it to grab onto--and it did! It eventually caught its breath and scurried off. They're heroes! How cool is that? It could have gone much worse but their clever thinking and willingness to help saved the raccoon's life! Amazing! So cute to see it run away afterwards. It happened in Charleston, South Carolina which looks stunningly beautiful, by the way.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
