Meet The California Man With The ‘World’s Best Beard’

Meet Trevor Mustafa, the man with the World's Best Beard. It's so impressive that it causes issues when he tries to eat!

Can you imagine having a beard that big? I had a big beard at one point, but it doesn't compare to what this guy is rocking--not even close. It's not only long but it's wide and thick! When it comes to beards, I guess size does matter. 44-year-old Mustafa was crowned best in show at the World Beard and Moustache Championships and it's all because of his 11-inch beard. It's truly something to behold!

According to The New York Post, he's been growing his current beard since February 2023. That's not even that long! Trevor is a maintenance worker for a post office and is from Sacramento, California. He says he occasionally cuts it off and starts all over again. I can imagine it would be a lot of work and effort that would be needed to keep a beard that big well-groomed. You might want to chop it off and start over from time to time. That's understandable.

Mustafa tells The New York Post, "Eating is a real challenge. I can't eat ice cream, I can't eat soup--pretty much almost anything--just because of how thick and wide my beard is. I've had to learn to take soft first bites because there's been more than a few times where I've swallowed my beard and been choking on myself." Wow!
