You can't burn the flag! That's like rule number one that everyone knows. Don't say "bomb" on an airplane and don't set the flag on fire. You're not going to get any sympathy doing that. According to The Smoking Gun, 21-year-old Brianna Laird has been identified as the pantsless woman caught burning stolen flags in Bussey, Iowa. When officers finally located her, she reportedly had an American Flag tied around her head and was not wearing any pants nor underwear.

The Smoking Gun reports that she first gave law enforcement a fake name and resisted, even kicking the officers at one point. She was also found in possession of a bag containing drug paraphernalia.

She's now behind bars and facing charges including arson; assault; indecent exposure; theft; and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also had a criminal complaint filed regarding the desecration of a flag, per The Smoking Gun. She has previous convictions for marijuana possession and driving under the influence, this is not her first run-in with the law.

Don't burn the flag. You're going to get in a lot of trouble for doing that. Especially during times like this. You're doing yourself no favors and nobody wants to see that happen. See her mugshot provided by the Marion County Sheriff's Department below.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
