Are wedding costs keeping people from getting married? It certainly seems to be playing a role!

If you're married, you can probably relate. If you've ever even been to a wedding, you can relate to how expensive it can be. Just appearing in a friend or family's wedding can rack up a lot of money quickly. You have to pay for a dress, hotel, travel, drinks, activities, makeup, and more. You don't realize it until you're in it most of the time. That appears to be the case for this bride-to-be's friend who's now going viral online for saying she's never going to get married after realizing how much it costs. You can't blame her and I don't think she's alone! Check out the viral video below.

It really adds up! That's insane! You'd never expect to get a $125k quote from a makeup artist. What are they doing, a Hollywood movie? That's wild.

They say that marriage rates and the population rates are declining. Could insane prices like this have something to do with it? Was your wedding anywhere close to as expensive as this one? It seems like it's a lot! Commenters all seem to agree that it's ridiculous and unacceptable to pay a makeup artist that much money for a wedding. There has to be a cheaper option out there!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
