A Florida bride was busted for speeding while running late to her wedding. You can't be late to your own wedding!

This is something I've never understood and it seems to happen all the time. How can you be late to your own wedding? It's a pretty important date, you'd think you'd be prepared and ready far in advance, but that doesn't seem to always happen. Sure, someone is going to be late to the wedding but you never want it to be the bride or the groom. The incident happened in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Sounds like she was caught on bodycam footage racing to the altar when she was caught.

According to The New York Post, the Florida bride was caught going 105 miles per hour on Crosstown Parkway. Sounds like the officer noticed and asked "whose wedding is it?" and se had to say it was hers as she was sitting in the passenger seat dolled up in a long white gown, per The New York Post.

Despite it being her wedding day, it sounds like she was not given a break. The New York Post says she was given a mandatory court date for speeding but was allowed to continue on to the wedding.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
