A brawl broke out on a Canadian golf course! That story is now being featured on the "Those Crazy Canadians" segment on Dave & Chuck The Freak!
Golf is the talk of the town recently thanks to The Masters. It's the biggest golf tournament of the year and it has golf in the spotlight world wide. However, not every round of golf is as classy as The Masters. This one certainly was not. A brawl broke out at a Canadian golf course and resulted in one player suffering a broken jaw! Golf is supposed to be easy and relaxing! This does not fit that description.
Brawl Breaks Out On Canadian Golf Course
The incident happened at Two Eagles Golf Course in West Kelowna, British Columbia which is roughly 240 miles east of Vancouver, per Daily Mail. Reports say 2 groups of players started fighting over an accusation of slow play. That can be a major frustration in golf, if the group ahead of you is slow and taking your time. A round of 18 is already long enough! Well, it sounds like this fight became so intense that one player suffered a broken jaw during the brawl, per Daily Mail!
Daily Mail says that during the frustration of slow play the group behind deliberately hit a golf ball when the first group was still in distance. That's considered a no-no in golf and can be considered dangerous and rude. Crazy for an actual fight to break out over something like this.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police tell Daily Mail that all parties have been identified and there is an investigation ongoing. Staff sergeant Brendan Dolan tells Daily Mail, "We've viewed the cell phone video of the incident and it's nothing short of unacceptable behavior."
