Mugshot Of The Day: Old Florida Man Attacks Deputies In His Boxers

An older Florida man is the subject of the Mugshot Of The Day! The mugshot might even be more wild than the story of his arrest.

I always love the Mugshot Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak. Just when you think the story of the suspect's arrest couldn't possibly get any crazier, you see the mugshot and are immediately proven wrong. We've seen all types of unique mugshots with the Mugshot Of The Day. There have been people confused, wet, tattooed, scared, high, drunk, strange colored hair, strange hair, a weird smile, and more! There is no end to what you might see. This time around is no different.

If you're going to be arrested you always hope that you're clothed when it happens. Getting arrested naked or in your underwear might be a bit more embarrassing. Unfortunately, that's what it sounds like happened here. Not a great choice!

According to Polk Sheriff, 64-year-old Eugene Albert Hendry was arrested after he attempted to break into a residence and then fought 2 deputies. Reports say he showed up at the front door of a Mulberry residence wearing only boxer shorts and tried to force entry into the residence. 3 people were on the back porch at the time and when they heard what was happening they yelled at him to stop and called 911. Well, they don't always like when you do that and this is one of those examples. Hendry became more aggressive and even threw a large object through the window, per Polk Sheriff. As he was trying to enter the home, one of the men shot a firearm towards him but he missed.

Eventually, Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived and tried to secure him but he started attacking the deputies. He even reportedly punched a deputies in the face and attempted to remove the deputy's firearm from its holster. The deputies were eventually able to get him under control and put him in the back of a patrol car. Pretty crazy story and just as crazy of a mugshot! Don't try to fight officers who are trying to get you under control. Just let them do their jobs. Otherwise, you might end up looking like that.
