Why It's an Impressive Win
Even with all these things going wrong in the game, Detroit buckled down, never gave up, and pulled off the crazy comeback. These are all reasons this is the most impressive win in regular-season franchise history. While we’ve seen some damn impressive wins throughout the history of the Detroit Lions. This season has featured some dominant blowouts, defeating the Tennessee Titans 52-17 and even the Dallas Cowboys 47-9.
There’s a big difference, though, between a dominant blowout and an incredibly tough, gritty comeback for an impressive win. This team showed that it has the mental and physical toughness to not give up after being punched in the mouth by their opponent.

This will be absolutely crucial come playoff time and is exactly what they’ll need as they fight for their first Super Bowl victory in the team's history. This team has all the tools to win it all this season. Coached by a superb three-headed monster in Dan Campbell, Aaron Glenn, and Ben Johnson.
Lions are A Super Bowl Team
The Lions have supreme offensive firepower with guys like Sam Laporta, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. All of this is led by an elite quarterback, Jared Goff, who is behind the best offensive line in the NFL. This complements the much-improved defensive unit from a season ago incredibly well.
Even after the Lions lost Aidan Hutchinson, it means a lot to still pull out an impressive win like the Houston game. The defense brought their A-game again. They’ve shown for ten straight weeks that they are legitimately elite on defense. This is what the fans have been waiting over 60 years for—a team good enough to finally lead them to the Promised Land.
