Boston Store Clerk Assaulted By Hot Pocket

Who throws a Hot Pocket? A store clerk in Dorchester, Massachusetts was the victim of an aerial assault. A customer became irate during a transaction and threw a frozen Hot Pocket at the clerk.

According to Boston 25 News, police are seeking a suspect who has been accused of assaulting a Dorchester store clerk with a Hot Pocket. Boston 25 News says, "the suspect entered the store and grabbed a hot pocket from the fridge before asking the cashier for a tobacco product. When the cashier asked for an ID, the suspect reportedly became irate and threw the frozen food at the employee." That would definitely hurt.

A customer was able to help the clerk and remove the suspect from the store. The suspect not only threw the frozen food, but also pulled out a knife in the altercation. No one was seriously injured and the injuries sustained by the flying pizza pocket have not be released.

Dave's Controversy with The Frozen Pizza

If you're new to the show, then you are not aware of the history with have with Hot Pockets. Dave and Chuck the Freak and Hot Pockets are connected forever, and not in a good way. You might remember a promotion ran by the company years ago that involved the song 'Hot Blooded', by Foreigner. Well, what you might not know is that our very own Dave was the creator of that jingle.

Dave was on-air one day when he said he had an amazing jingle idea for Hot Pockets. It would include using the song 'Hot Blooded' by Foreigner but replacing it with the some words that related to the brand. Well, he actually was in contact with the company at some point and they said they were not interested. And then, we discovered that they ended up using the idea. There has since been a ban on the frozen pizza sandwich at the Dave and Chuck the Freak show. I'm surprised I'm even writing a story about them.
