A handyman having a full conversation with a cat was caught on camera and is now going viral online. Yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds.

Who doesn’t love talking to animals? I think we can all agree we wish they could speak back to us. Sometimes, it feels like they understand what we’re saying. It appears that this guy was in that zone and ended up having a full conversation with a cat. He just probably didn’t know he was being filmed doing so.

Handyman Has Conversation With A Cat In Viral Video

The conversation was captured on a pet cam by a woman who lives in Nevada, per Newsweek. They can be useful to keep an eye on your pet while you’re away or at work. Some of them will even allow you to remotely dispense treats to them if they’re being good while you’re away. These cameras can help you see if you have any visitors, if you pet is getting into something, and it can capture the handyman having a full conversation with a cat. Some of those are more rare than others.

According to Newsweek, Raven Green was checking her pet cam around 12:40pm on a Thursday when she saw one of her cats, Earl, having a conversation with the worker. Green tells Newsweek, “Earl loves to talk, he’s always been a chatty boy since I got him. He speaks to me every day, especially once it starts getting closer to dinner time.” Judging by the video, Earl might be able to understand English. It’s cute to see the handyman engage in conversation with the cat.

While it seems to be a trait more associated with dogs, cats can also learn words and understand changes in our tone. The adorable video has already gotten more than 200,000 views on TikTok and continues to climb. Meanwhile, it also has more than 43,000 likes on Upworthy’s Instagram. I hope the handyman is aware that he’s always being filmed, but I guess that’s part of the job.

He has no shame meowing back to the cat. You can tell this isn’t the first time he’s done this. Sounds like the handyman might be a cat guy. Does your cat do this?
