Mugshot Of The Day: Mississippi Attorney Allegedly Attempts Bringing Contraband Into Correctional Facility

A Mississippi attorney allegedly tried bringing contraband into a correctional facility! Now, he's the subject of our Mugshot Of The Day on Dave & Chuck The Freak!

Every morning, we share crazy stories of people being arrested. Sometimes what they did is newsworthy, sometimes it's where it happened, and sometimes it's worth talking about because of the wild mugshot. That is the case today. I don't know if I've ever seen a mugshot like it.

Attorneys are supposed to be familiar with the law. That's how they win! They'll find that loop hole to help get you out of jail. Of course, that's not the case for all attorneys. It looks like this one might soon be joining his clients!

According to WJTV, Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones announced that Daniel Sidney Dale has been charged with 2 counts of conspiracy and 3 counts of introduction of contraband to a correctional facility. The sheriff claims Dale was posing as legal counsel for some detainees and was allegedly smuggling cellphones and other contraband while visiting the facility.

Jones tells WJTV, "Attorney Dale, in a trusted position responsible for the constitutional rights of arrested suspects, jeopardized the safety and integrity of the Hinds County Detention Facilities and the public. This investigation is ongoing and more charges and/or arrests are possible." Understandably, it sounds crazy and unbelievable to hear a story about an attorney accused of trying to sneak contraband into a correctional facility. However, the mugshot might be even more crazy than the story itself!

Honestly, that might be the wildest mugshot I've ever seen! There is so much about it that stands out. First, that face! It's like a jump scare. Did the flash scare him? Was it taken in a dark room and the light took him by surprise? Additionally, there's the suit. You don't often see mugshots of people wearing suits. Then, it appears that he's wet?

That was certainly worth being the Mugshot Of The Day. While he'll apparently do anything for his clients, I can't recommend Daniel Sidney Dale as your attorney. I'm not sure if he'll be available to be your attorney in the future, to be honest.
