Dua Lipa isn't the only artist to pull a "Houdini" lately, with veteran rapper Eminem coming out with a track of the same name Friday (May 31). Em, 51, dropped the official music video as well as the track at midnight Friday and he seemed to have a lot of fun making the video.

Eminem Drops New Track and Video

While he's sleeping in his mansion in his lux bedding, the camera pans to a portrait of his mentor and longtime friend, Dr. Dre, who is calling him. It is notable that there is a reversed "E" in the moon, like Eminem's calling symbol. Dre tells the "Real Slim Shady" that they have a "problem."

Coming out of a portal is none other than a bleached-blonde Slim Shady from the year 2002. As the old Slim Shady takes a look around at what 2024 is like, he reacts, "The f--- is this s---?" Then, a bunch of famous faces are spreading the news of, "Guess who's back?" including 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and comedian Shane Gillis.

"Houdini" is the first single off of Eminem's upcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), which is set to release this summer. The single was announced in an online video earlier this week, which featured a FaceTime call between Eminem and illusionist David Blaine. Em asks Blaine if he can get his help with something -- making his career disappear.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), fans chimed in to share their thoughts about "Houdini." One person hilariously said, "Eminem swearing at his own children is the most slim shady thing ever [skull emoji]." Another person pointed out his line about his kids and said, "why tf did Eminem send a random stray to his own kids in his new song [sobbing emojis]."

Meanwhile, another wrote, "EMINEM JUST TURNED CLOCK BACK [sobbing emoji]." A third praised, "Yeah slim shady is back," and included the crazy lines: "My transgender cat's Siamese (why?), identifies as black, but acts Chinese." Added another, "2002 Eminem stepping out of a portal into 2024 is something I didn’t know I needed."

LeBron James even chimed in and said, "And just like that, HE’S BACK bruh! @Eminem Houdini is too good! [salute emoji, flames emoji]." O'Shea Jackson Jr. wrote, "This mf @Eminem is craaaaazy lmao welcome back."
