Watch as Lizzo responds to South Park naming an Ozempic alternative after her! The singer is the show’s latest celebrity target.

Nobody is ever safe from being the butt of a joke on South Park. The Comedy Central show has made fun of just about every celebrity from the Royal Family to Tom Cruise and everywhere in between. Lizzo is the latest target of the animated show, and her response was pretty fun! Check it out below.

Lizzo Responds To South Park Roasting

Personally, I’m a huge fan of South Park. It’s arguably the funniest show on television. Few shows make me consistently laugh like South Park. You’ve got Cartman, Randy, and even Butters provides laugh after laugh. However, the show does come with its fair share of controversy. It’s what I like to call an equal opportunity offender. Nobody is safe! They’ll make fun of rock stars, pop stars, Democrats, and Republicans–it doesn’t matter. Unfortunately for Lizzo, she was the butt of the joke in the South Park: The End of Obesity special that aired Friday, May 24th. You can watch as Lizzo responds to South Park below!

Lizzo took to TikTok to share a “blind duet” reaction to a scene where she’s mentioned. She says, “Guys, my worst fear has been actualized. I’ve been referenced in a South Park episode.” In the episode, Sharon Marsh is talking to Sheila about how her doctor won’t prescribe her any weight loss drugs like Ozempic because she doesn’t have diabetes. Then, she reveals that there’s a new weight loss drug on the market called “Lizzo.” The faux diet supplement “makes you feel good about you weight–and it costs 90% less than Ozempic,” per People. The fake commercials plays out with Sharon explaining that by lowering her standards and expectations she was able feel good about your weight. With the Lizzo diet, you can eat whatever you want and don’t even have to exercise!

Lizzo had a great reaction to the video. She was a great sport about being roasted and even found the silver lining in the video. She’s proud to love herself regardless of her weight and plans on continuing to live that way. Lizzo has championed body positivity and often goes on social media to share photos of her body and self however she chooses.
