Detroit Man Asks Flight Attendants To Join Mile High Club On Spirit Airlines Flight

The proverbial Mile High Club is a very exclusive club. They don't just let anyone in. You definitely can't get in if you're not invited. This guy found that out the hard way. A Detroit man has been arrested after asking flight attendants on a Spirit Airlines flight to join the Mile High Club.

The man is now facing federal charges after reports say he grabbed two flight attendants on his flight to Orlando, asking them if they'd like to join the Mile High Club.

The FBI was called to the scene in response to a disruptive passenger on a Spirit Airlines flight. According to Fox 2 Detroit, that's when law enforcement was told that the man, James Warren Finnister, asked the lead flight attendant if she'd like to join the Mile High Club on the Spirit flight. After, he reportedly grabbed another flight attendant and asked her the same question.

Fox 2 Detroit also reports that Finnister asked questions about entering the cockpit and consumed several alcoholic beverages before the flight. He was arrested for knowingly interfering with the performance of the duties of the flight crew.

Apologies, not everybody is familiar with the Mile High Club! I should have addressed this earlier. If you're not familiar, the Mile High Club is what they call it when you engage in sexual intercourse aboard a plane. The old little secret trip into the lavatory.

However, what this man did is wildly inappropriate on many levels. I'm not sure why so many people think they can behave this way on a plane. It seems like it happens all the time!

I feel horrible for the Flight Attendants and they don't deserve to have to deal with that while on the job--or at any time, at all.

While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn't), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren't a matter of life or death. There's no ethics quiz here, or any matters of 'would you steal bread to support your family?' These crimes, and criminals, aren't straight up cringeworthy.
