The embarrassing hot mic incident led to thousands of people hearing him go to the bathroom. Now, we all need to use this as a learning moment.
Vivek Ramaswamy Forgets To Mute Mic In Bathroom
According to TMZ, The Presidential Candidate was in a Spaces chat on X (formerly Twitter) with Elon Musk. Alex Jones, and other conservative media members. At one point, as Jones was talking you could hear a familiar stream coming from Vivek's microphone.
After some discussion around the noise Ramaswamy got called out as the one responsible. He apologized for the mistake and Elon Musk joked that he hopes he's now feeling better. Check out the video below.
Vivek remains in the running for the Republican nomination. He's now in competition with Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Asa Hutchinson, and former President Donald Trump.
Busted On Hot Mic
This is a lesson we can all learn from. We're on Zoom calls daily and are very capable of making this mistake. I would rather have the entire Zoom meeting shaming me telling me "you're on mute!" than to go to the bathroom without hitting that mute button. Some mistakes are more embarrassing than others. I'll take the one where people don't hear me using the bathroom.
Several incidents like this went viral back in 2020 and 2021 when we were first becoming familiar with the Zoom lifestyle. People were busted doing all sorts of different things, quickly teaching us what not to do while on a conference call. There were teachers who were allegedly caught degrading students on a hot mic and more.
Basically, before you go to the bathroom during a conference call please make sure you're on mute. If you can't make sure, maybe wait until the call if over to be safe. This is not what you want to go viral for. Especially in the middle of a Presidential campaign.
