Autumn is here, and Michigan has plenty of glorious colors that will take us into the winter months. I personally think Michigan is one of the most beautiful states to be in during the autumn months. From the lower parts of Michigan to the Upper Peninsula, Michigan is offers endless amounts of glorious fall colors. As it turns out, Michigan as the No. 3 best “secret place” in the U.S. to see fall foliage.
The crew at BestLifeOnline.com has a list of the best “secret places” to view fall foliage. “You can plan entire trips around leaf peeping, whether it’s heading to a national park for unimpeded foliage or planning a drive to take in the dazzling orange, red, and yellow hues that dominate the landscape,” they write “And while the pastime is popular enough to send crowds to well-known viewing destinations, there are still plenty of under-the-radar options for getting your fix.”
Before we get to our state, let’s look at No. 1. The top spot in the U.S. is the beautiful Julian, California. Then, No. 2 is Denver, Colorado. “According to experts, a quick loop in the car can get in some of the best fall scenery anywhere in the U.S.,” BestLifeOnline.com notes.

So, what about us?
