Well, a video has gone viral of a Texas carnival worker dangling 30 feet in the air while he saves a 12-year-old girl stuck inside a ride called The Bullet.

According to a report, the carnival worker was helping the girl INTO the car when a gust of wind launched it into the air. In the video, you see the door was still open, so he closed it and held on tightly AS the compartment turned 180 degrees.

Next, after what seemed like a lifetime, employees got the motor started and lowered the car.  The worker's hand was bloodied, but he's fine.

Carnival Worker Saves 12 Year Old Girl

Nope. This is why you'll never catch me on one of those rides. Not at the fair, not at the amusement park, nowhere. I don't want to be the 12 year old girl who has to be saved by the carnival worker. I don't want to have to deboard the roller coaster and walk all the way down the thing. I'm much more comfortable with my feet planted comfortably on the ground, thank you very much.

However, this is great news for the carnival worker community. They've gotten a bad reputation over the years for some reason and now they're the heroes. Now they have a great headline for publicity on newspapers across the country, "Carnival Worker Saves 12 Year Old Girl." That will help for sure! Good on him for taking the risk of getting up there to save her. I'm scared of heights, so I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to do it.

Would this stop you from ever going on a ride like this again? I think it's all I needed to see in order to avoid these types of things for the rest of my life. No thanks, I'm good! Thankfully, nobody will ever have to risk their life to save me from anything like that. They may need to assist me whilst choking on a corndog, or something. At least they won't be super high up there, though. Thankfully, everyone ended up okay. Just minor injuries for the carnival worker. Someone get him an award, or something! He deserves it.
