Dave Chappelle Announces Date At Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena

Comedian Dave Chappelle just announced a run of dates which includes Little Caesars Arena. Dave Chappelle Live, produced by Live Nation, will perform at the LCA on Saturday, September 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Here's the deal: No cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will be allowed at this show. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night and, if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby. Anyone caught with a cellphone in the venue will be immediately ejected. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

Speaking of the LCA, here's the last show I saw there.

Kid Rock played two packed shows at the Little Caesars Arena over the weekend. As always, he poured everything out onto the stage and no one left disappointed. The Twisted Brown Trucker band was on point, ripping through every era of "Rock" from "Devil Without A Cause" material, right through last year's "Bad Reputation" album.

For me, there's a circle of friends I only see at a Kid Rock show. From his team - band, security and others - to mutual friends of mine and Rock's I've interacted with throughout the years. It's always great to catch up!

A big Thanks to everyone who swung by the broadcast location both nights. Awesome to see and hang with everyone!
