Dearborn Spot Named Best Place For Tacos In Michigan

The idea behind a taco is straightforward. It usually consists of a tortilla, protein, toppings, spicy sauce, and perhaps a freshly squeezed lime. However, if you’re yearning for an authentic taco experience rather than settling for a lackluster fast-food option, where should you go?

With numerous taco choices and a range of casual dining spots, from fast food to casual Mexican restaurants. Deciding what kind of taco to get can be challenging. Recently, LoveFood updated its Best Taco in Every State list. Their selections are based on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of their team.

Dearborn restaurant is named the best spot for tacos in the state.

M Cantina in Dearborn has been named the top spot for tacos in Michigan. Their website proudly raves about their gourmet tacos, which they say are a cut above the rest. One standout option highlighted is their chiles rellenos tacos, featuring a crispy, deep-fried poblano pepper filled with queso fresco, fresh salsa, rice, beans, and a finishing touch of micro popcorn.

The praise for M Cantina doesn’t end there. M Cantina currently has 4 out of 5 stars on Yelp. One super satisfied customer couldn’t contain their excitement about their tacos, saying, “Wow. I’ve had many many tacos in my life, and I have to say M Cantina was the best I’ve ever had. 10/10.” Another reviewer wrote, “I don’t know how a restaurant can have every single dish be spectacular!!!”

In 2017, Executive Chef Junior Merino brought M Cantina to life in Dearborn. This place is all about tasty tacos and tortas, with fillings like duck carnitas and braised short ribs. They were served alongside snacks like their grilled elotes. What’s cool is that their menu is halal, and they’ve got a refreshing variety of fresh juices too. M Cantina has made it on local lists such as the Top 10 Best Mexican Restaurants in Metro Detroit, and even the Top 10 Healthiest Restaurants in Dearborn lists.

Monroe Street Midway Returns To Downtown Detroit This Summer

Monroe Street Midway is returning to Downtown Detroit this summer with activities and entertainment for the whole family. However, this will be Monroe Street Midway’s final season in its current location. Bedrock unveiled updated plans for its Monroe Block project earlier this year.

Opening on May 18, guests will have the opportunity to experience a series of playground-style attractions, the Rollout Detroit Roller Rink, Rocket Mortgage Sports Zone, and more.

Since its launch, Midway has welcomed more than 240,000 guests and helped generate support for local businesses.

“The Monroe Street Midway provides Detroiters of all ages with accessible and ‘uniquely Detroit’ entertainment options, while spotlighting local entrepreneurs and Detroit artists,” said Ivy Greaner, Bedrock’s Chief Operating Officer. “The Midway has welcomed more than 240,000 guests and helped generate substantial support for local businesses. It continues to surpass our expectations and has become a special place to create long-lasting memories.”

The Midway will open on Thursday, May 18, and will operate Thursday through Sunday, weather permitting, through Labor Day weekend.

Entry is free into the Midway, the Rocket Mortgage Sports Zone, for mini golf, and playground activities. Roller skating is $13 per person which includes skate rental.

As amazing as our past summers have been for downtown Detroit and RollerCade alike, we believe this summer is going to be the biggest and best one yet,” said Kyle Black, owner of RollerCade.
