Michigan’s Biggest Party City is Not What You Think
Summer is a great time to get your party on. As it turns out, one Michigan city has been named one of the top 50 biggest party cities in all of America. It’s certainly not one I would have guessed, either.
The study comes from BonusFinder.com, which conducted a study to find the biggest cities in the world. “As there are as many party preferences as there are partiers, we have included a variety of cities from across the country to cater to every taste,” the study reads. “From the casino floors of MGM Grand in Vegas to Atlantic City’s Borgata, and from the beaches of California to the rooftop bars of the East Coast, we have compiled a comprehensive list to choose from.”
They add that for the best party cities, the Top 10 were pretty much filled with Florida towns. That’s with the exception of a few. Of course, the few towns that made it in the top 10 that weren’t in Florida offered other fun stuff. For example, gambling and exciting entertainment options were on the tally.
Before we get to Michigan, note that No. 1 on the list for all of America is Atlantic City, New Jersey. It has an overall party score of 10/10. “The coastal resort city, known as ‘mini-Vegas’ or ‘America’s Playground,’ is mainly associated with its buzzing casinos and the world-famous Boardwalk,” they state. “Despite its popularity, the city’s hotel prices have stayed low with an average cost of $116 per night. Placing on top of our list of party cities, the best part of AC? There is no last call at the bar, so the partying doesn’t have to stop.”

No. 48 on the tally is Grand Rapids, Michigan. I would have thought Detroit! Actually, Detroit comes in at No. 76 on the list, so respectable, but not as high as I would have put it. There are plenty of great things to do in Detroit. Anyway, find the full list here.
