Avenged Sevenfold Bring Their “Life Is But A Dream…” Tour To Pine Knob

I cannot wait for this one! The last time Avenged Sevenfold was in Detroit was when the opened for Metallica at Comerica Park in 2017. If you recall, they had to cut their set short for a storm…which never materialized. In the past, members of the band have told me that they owe us one.

The new album, Life is But A Dream, drops on June 2nd. The first single from the album is called “Nobody” Opening the show will be the band Alexisonfire.

Deathbats Club members can request tickets first from now through Tuesday, March 28 at 3 p.m. ET using Ticketmaster’s new Token-Gated Sales platform at avengedsevenfold.io/.

Flashback to Metallica at Comerica Park in 2017

It’s definitely hard going through summer without going to any shows but at least we have our memories. Who could forget the day Metallica came through Detroit and performed at Comerica Park!? It was one of the most humid days ever and we were even hit with a huge rain storm and we had a chance of sever storms later that night. That was three years ago today (July 12, 2017). So lets look back at that day when Meltdown had the chance to sit down with Papa Het (James Hetfield) of Metallica before their set as well as some never seen before photos from that night.
