Five Facts About Meltdown
Here’s some facts about me that you might not now.
Fact #1 -I currently have three podcasts. My latest is Track X Track, where I talk to bands about their biggest albums, track by track. Another episode drops Thursday with Jesse James Dupree from Jackyl.
Haunted Michigan. I started this one last fall as I dropped a new episode each Monday of October. I talked to Paranormal investigators from around the state. The latest episode is with Steve Shippy talking about the Michigan Hell House. GREAT listening for any paranormal fan, if I do say so myself.

Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown. I’ve been doing this one for several years. Pretty self explanatory….I talk to rock stars about whatever they have going on. On deck, Michael Wilton from Queensryche, some of the Skid Row guys and more.

Fact #2 – Last February 10th I celebrated my 33rd year on the radio. Yes, I started VERY young! Man, how the times have changed. I can’t believe I get to do what I do. The 14 year old rocker kid would’ve never believed I’d be doing this after all these years, and talking to, and getting to know, some of my favorites bands.
Fact #3 – I play hockey three to four times a week, all year long. One of the greatest things hockey has brought me is the chance to watch my kids play. Now every weekend I play with my son. It’s worth waking up for.
Fact #4 – I only listen to music at home on vinyl. I love it! You can see some of my collection every Wednesday, as I show a different record on my Vinyl Frontier series.

Fact #5 – This one is crazy even to me. In the long and illustrious, decade spanning history of WRIF, there’s only been two afternoon drive DJs. You read that right. In 52 of the RIFF, only the legend, Arthur P. and myself have ever done the drive home shift. I didn’t realize that until a press release came out on my 25th anniversary at the station that stated that. There’s not many stations around the country that can boast that fact. By the way, I’m only 27 1/2 years in. I have a long way to go to catch the “Poohbah”!
