So, what's Michigan's most haunted city? They say that your chances of seeing a spirit are the highest in this area. Apparently, it's Monroe. I mean, it is the location for the Michigan Museum of  Horror, right?  They say, and I've heard this too, that the old dilapidated Old Paper Mill in town was very active. The building is unsafe to enter for structural reasons, so I wouldn't recommend going in there anytime soon.

According to Todd Bonner from Detroit Paranormal Expeditions "The Old Paper Mill has a very angry spirit that will actually scream at people that enter. An out worldly scream! Kind of like a high-pitched shrill". He went on to say that it's also the location of the River Raisin battlefield, the battle of Frenchtown, that took place in 1813. "The amount of death that's taken place there has saturated the area." Jeff Adkins from DPX agreed "With so much that's happened there over the past 250 years, it's not surprising that there's been a huge amount of paranormal occurrences there"

Right between Detroit and the Ohio border, Monroe has experienced a whopping 48 paranormal sightings. This information is according to GreatLakesStakes.com.

Throughout the month of October, I did a podcast/videocast called Haunted Michigan. I talked to some of the best paranormal people in the state. Each one had different stories, and tingling tales from everywhere from Detroit to the U.P.. It was an interesting, and very entertaining project.

What are your thoughts on this?

13 Hottest ‘Halloween Ends’ Looks From The Premiere

Today (October 14) is the theatrical premiere and Peacock streaming premiere of David Gordon Green's Halloween Ends. After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) faces off for the last time against the masked killer Michael Myers. Four years after her last encounter with Michael Myers, Laurie Strode is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and trying to finish her memoir. Myers hasn't been seen in a long time, and Laurie finally decides to liberate herself from rage and fear and embrace life. However, when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) stands accused of murdering a boy that he was babysitting... the story takes a turn.

"Scream queen" Curtis has portrayed Laurie, on and off, for more than four decades now. That's one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. Curtis first took on the role of Laurie in 1978 with John Carpenter's Halloween. When the franchise relaunched under director David Gordon Green in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.

Halloween Ends co-stars returning cast Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as The Shape. Watch the final trailer below:

Earlier this week, the stars of Halloween Ends hit the red carpet in Hollywood and they slayed -- with very little blood spilled. See the 13 hottest looks below:

The 'Hotel Transylvania 2' voice actress wore a pop of color that wasn't red or orange. Jenness wore a neon pink leather skirt with her black mock-neck vest.

What is a Halloween Ends red carpet premiere if there isn't an abundance of blood-red? This ensemble looks flowy and comfy enough to outrun Myers.

Kathryn Newton

Now the velvet blazers are always such a classic look and perfect for fall. It's refreshing to see a lighter color, as most folks go with dark velvet.

Jane Levy

The 'Evil Dead' and 'Don't Breathe' star followed fellow horror star Kathryn Newton with the leather look. We love the thick leather of this dress, giving it a more rugged, edgy feel.

Adam Bucci
