Kool-Aid or Not I’m happy with our Lion’s turnaround being 4-1 last 5 games. Despite having the second-best record in the NFL, the Vikings find themselves 2.5-point road underdogs vs. the Lions.
Ok, so we lost by three points to the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving Day. The offense is finally fully healthy. The Lions are averaging 26.3 points of offense per game. My friends are quick to point out SOL, but are they the same old Lions now? Lions are in second place in the NFC North standings ahead of Green Bay Packers and Da Bears.
Fans and players alike are feeling great about the direction of this team. This is a different Lions team since week #3. The Vikings came through with a win, but Detroit outplayed them for three quarters and held a 10-point lead in the final quarter. Our fault for some quirky coaching decisions. Looking forward to this Sunday’s match-up. It’s the Lions, “Put up or shut up game.” The only thing that worries me is if everyone jumps on the bandwagon will all the wheels fall off? Is this just a strange episode of the Twilight Zone? Also is being favored by 2.5 points a kiss of death? This continuing soap opera will meet this Sunday afternoon. Go Lions!
