Some people take soccer (football) way too seriously. I don’t know what’s better, watching this idiot wreck his TV, or the fact that his buddy filmed the whole thing.
Oh, by the way, Mexico didn’t lose. They won 2-1 but didn’t score enough goals to advance. Team Poland gets to advance because they won the goal-differential tiebreaker. Poland scored as many goals as they allowed in the first round of the tournament, and Mexico had given up one more goal than they scored. If Mexico would have scored two more goals in Wednesday’s game, they would have advanced. The outcome was so crushing for Mexico that their head coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino essentially fired himself and said he was no longer the team’s coach.

Christine McVie: More Tributes to the Fleetwood Mac Vocalist/Keyboardist
Christine McVie was one of Fleetwood Mac’s most prolific songwriters on top of being a keyboardist and vocalist for the legendary band. Considering that, it’s no surprise many musicians and other entertainers paid tribute to McVie following the news of her untimely death yesterday (November 30) at age 79.
Here are some notable tributes to Fleetwood Mac’s not-so-secret weapon.
Meltdown started on the mighty WRIF on the evening of Halloween, 1995. Technically, his first on-air shift was the morning of November 1st. Moving to the Motor City from Buffalo, N.Y., he has built a career and family. Over his almost three-decade stint at RIFF, he's had the privilege to work with some of the biggest personalities in Detroit radio history. He boasts of being just the second-afternoon drive jock in the station's illustrious 53-year history.
Along with his love for rock music and attending concerts, he's also an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast and hockey player. He plays year-round and manages to squeeze in a few charity games throughout the year. Meltdown writes about the Detroit Red Wings, rock music, and Detroit concert venues.
