Miguel Cabrera Says He’s Likely Retiring
Miguel Cabrera is saying the 2023 season will likely be his final as an active player in Major League Baseball.
in a new article on MLB.com, Cabrera tells MLB.com’s Christina De Nicola, “I think it’s going to be my last year. It feels a little weird to say that.”
But, not all hope is lost. Even though he definitely indicated this would be his last year, Cabrera didn’t 100% say this would absolutely be his final season . In the video interview, Cabrera says that he’s not going to say “never,” but adds, “I think it’s time to say goodbye to baseball.”
