Courtesy photoHappy Anniversary to me! 27 years ago I did my first shift on the mighty WRIF! It was an exciting new start for me, after being on the radio for 6 years in Buffalo, NY. On the other hand, I was in a big, unfamiliar city, where I didn't know anyone. I'll never forget my dad saying to me "Give it six months. If it doesn't work out you can always come back". Almost three decades later, I think it worked out pretty well!
Thank you to all of you for the many years of listening, doing shots, saying Hello at concerts, riding motorcycles, playing hockey and everything in between...THANK YOU!

One of my favorite memories includes Lzzy Hale embarrassing my son about 5 or 6 years ago. Another great one was the induction of the Bob Seger Dr. with some local radio legends: Jim Johnson, Steve Costan, Ken Calvert and Karen Savelly. Two more great ones were interviewing Ivan moody from FFDP on the hill after the doors had opened and interviewing Halestorm backstage.<br>Just the fact that when Pine Knob is open means it's the warm weather season. I love open air, outdoor concerts. Slipknot was one of my favorites I've seen there. The MANY Kid Rock shows. Riff Fest is always fun, but hectic. Too many to name over the past 27 years I've been here....
