The Vinyl Frontier With Meltdown – Two King Diamonds for Halloween
It’s a special Halloween edition of the Vinyl Frontier, with not one but two albums from my collection. Nothing says “80s horror rock” better than King Diamond.
Contrary to popular belief, I did not name my dog Abigail after this record from 1987. This record is so good. It all revolves around the story of the corpse of a stillborn child, Abigail. Yes, it’s creepy, and one of King Diamond’s best.
Just as creepy as 1988’s Them. This is an original copy that my wife found for me and gave it to me on my birthday. King Diamond can definitely make children’s music sound horrifying.
