When I got into collecting vinyl about six years ago, one of the first “newer” albums I bought was this one. I’d always loved the way the Taylor Momsen was an old soul, steeped deep with rock music. This album captures her feel and classic style perfectly.
‘Who You Selling For’ is today’s Vinyl Frontier pick. I’ve listened to this album over and over. It has a certain vibe that I can hear every time I play it. It’s hard to believe it’s been five and a half years since the day I interviewed her in person and she signed it for me….the same day we lost Chris Cornell. The Pretty Reckless opened up that fateful last show at the Fox in downtown Detroit.
If you haven’t heard this album, give it a shot. You might fall in love with it like I did.
