Have you ever heard of Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp? It’s just what the name suggests…ordinary folk get to play music with their musical idols.
Your “counselor” could be Joe Perry from Aerosmith. It might be Slash, or Ace Frehley. It’s so cool!
This year, Kim Thayil of Soundgarden and Robert and Dean Deleo of Stone Temple Pilots are going to be “counselors” at the ‘A Whole Lotta Rock’ Camp next spring.
It takes place in Los Angeles from March 16-19, 2023 and will also feature Carmine Appice of Vanilla Fudge.
Thayil took to his Twitter to talk about it, saying, “I had such a great time at Rock Camp in February, and I’m super excited to be coming back. Bring your favorite axe, and let’s jam at Rock Camp!”
