WRIF’s Steve Black Reaches 1,000 Chops Shop Shows – Screamin’ Scott
It’s been quite an honor to be alongside radio’s WRIF’s Steve Black. Our radio career has crossed paths for many years. Steve even played an integral part in getting my foot in the door for Detroit radio.
Working alongside Steve for so many years with so many interviews, it’s easier to say who haven’t you interviewed. Some of my personal interviews were a recent interview Steve got to do with Alex Lifeson from Rush, Dave Grohl, Sammy Hagar, and more. Not only did Steve interview Steve Vai, who is an incredible guitarist, but actually got to go on stage and sing a song with him.
Steve’s syndicated show is “The Chop Shop Guitar Show.” Steve has reached a milestone of 1,000 “Chop Shop” shows. A huge congratulations on such an accomplishment. If interviews weren’t, enough he’s also an accomplished author with his true life story of love adventure music cancer death and despair titled “From Black to Light” and also “The Last Child.” Here’s to the next 1,000, Steve! I’m proud of your efforts and most of all honored to be your friend. Check out Steve Black and The Chop Shop airs on WRIF Sunday morning 8 am. /www.chopshopradio.com/
