The Detroit Lions brought home a win Sunday (Sept. 18) at Ford Field, shutting out the Washington Commanders in what became a close game at the end.
Call it a dramatic game. The Lions went into the half up 22-0, but the Commanders came back in the second half to come within 7 points of the Lions. Final score: Lions winning .
Thank God we have a win, right? Last year, as I’m sure you remember, the Lions didn’t win any games until very late in the season. I am doing my happy dance. Please subscribe to the WRIF’s new NFL podcast, “The Squad with Anne Erickson,” here!
