Meltdown on WRIF

Weekdays 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

On my most recent Talkin’ Rock With Meltdown episode, Ghost frontman Tobias Forge tried to put into words what attracts fans to his band.

“I would love to believe that it has to do with the fact that the new records coming out are somewhat quantitative (laughs), and I think that the show is really good,” he says. “I think we stand out. I think we’re doing something that a lot of bands are not doing.” He goes on to say that another factor might be a much larger catalog now, as it’s grown over the past several years. “It’s kinda rich, and the rabbit hole is kinda decorated,” he says. He mentions that older people who might be fans of KISS and Alice Cooper are discovering Ghost and liking what the band brings.
