Really had to take a double take when I found out this information. What do New Yorkers have against whipped cream? Has there been whipped cream abuse on banana splits? Have there been careless whipping incidents on bowls of Jell-O? This is very crazy if you ask me. Everyone should be able to experience the joys of whipped cream.

The real reason seems to be the abuse of the can of whipped cream itself. I'm not talking about the late-night 2 a.m. visit to the refrigerator to subject yourself to a mouthful of whipped cream before bed. It seems the propellant used inside of the cans is hazardous if inhaled, and this is what kids are doing to get high. To tell you the truth, this has been happening for years. This is just the first ban of cans of whipped cream that I have ever witnessed in my life.
