To me, one of life's unanswered questions is why after so many years did the Lions not had cheerleaders. I know for years a at time, we imported cheerleaders from area high schools, but we had never had our own official cheerleaders until 2016.

In fact, we were the last team in the league to not have cheerleaders. Personally, I thought that was the missing puzzle piece the team needed to get to a Super Bowl. I'm happy to cheer this upcoming season with optimism. The glass is half full of Kool-Aid! I'd be happy with the playoff appearance this year. For the most part, I would just love to prove the critics wrong and go all the way one year.

Good luck, Lions Nation! This year, we have something to cheer for and share with us. Welcome your 2022 Detroit Lions cheerleaders!
