Yesterday on my Facebook and Twitter, I asked you if you get a photo, autograph, or neither when you meet someone famous. A lot of you said a picture would do, if you had the chance.
I'm a photo guy and have been one since long before the cell phone camera was even thought of. It was couple years into my radio career when I realized that I got to meet some pretty cool people. I thought to myself that I'd have kids one day, and I didn't want them thinking their dad led a boring life. Plus, I firmly believe that every picture tells a story. I can walk you around my Rock Room and tell you a story of every picture that hangs on my walls.
I have sections for guys I've met through hockey, wrestlers, and of course musicians.
I'll pass along a funny story of a recent photo I took with someone. I went down to Nashville in April to attend Kid Rock's comedy event for his charity. Afterwards, we went back to his bar where he introduced me to country music legend Zac Brown and others. All the country music guys I've had a chance to meet have been very nice. Anyways, after a while, I asked him if he wouldn't mind a quick selfie. Of course, he agreed. Let's just say I was a few whiskeys in, and for some some reason had put my phone on panoramic mode. After a couple lame attempts to put it back into photo mode, I gave up. Zac asked me to let him take a look at it. I gave him my phone and he fixed it in about .3 seconds flat! I guess it pays to be sober sometimes. LOL What a great guy!

What do all the photos have in common? They tell a story and bring back a memory. Yes, I'm a photo guy and I have TONS of them.
