This has bothered me since I heard the tragic news last night. Detroit police officer, Loren Courts, was killed while trying to protect the citizens he served.

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a big supporter of the police. To think that you could leave for work, and then not return to your family, is a sobering thought. From what I've heard, officer Courts was a five-year veteran, with a wife and children at home. It breaks my heart to hear that his kids will grow up fatherless - hero less.

His wife wrote that they "will never be the same....He was an amazing dad, my best friend, and the man I married," She went on to say that although he was a DPD officer, he was their Batman.

We all live busy lives, but I'd ask you to take a moment today to think about the Courts family a little today. Good vibes could go a long way in helping this family in need.

Godspeed, officer Courts, and Thank You!
