Hard to believe, but, yes, it's been 26 years since that famous reunion show with KISS.
At the time, it was the biggest Detroit show I'd been to since I had just gotten to the "D" in November of 1995. I was thinking "Is it like this all the time in Detroit?" There have been some massive shows here in the past 26 years, that one ranks near the top.
The guys reunited on MTV, and I guess that got the ball rolling. Gene, Peter, Ace and Paul, in full makeup, on stage like the old days. Gene once told me that Stone Temple Pilots was suppose to open that show, but Weiland couldn't stay out of rehab so they got Alice In Chains. Of course, Detroit's own Sponge kicked off the massive concert.
Just watching a few minutes of that show still give me chills. You can watch the whole show below.
