Highest Looping Coaster In The U.S. Opening In Colorado
Next month at Colorado’s Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, a new roller coaster will make its mark on the record books!
Defiance will stand atop Iron Mountain at an elevation of 7,160 above sea level, which is a record for a looping coaster.
The coaster will feature a 75-foot vertical climb, 102.3-degree, 110-foot freefall, making it the steepest drop of any coaster drop in the western U.S. The ride officially opens on July 9th.
