Dave and Chuck the Freak

Weekdays 5:30am - 10:30am

A Texas man is going viral on TikTok for his unique way to handle an unruly pet emu.

Toby Wilson has to carry around a foam pool noodle with him for protection from his pet emu.

Wilson and his wife had raised the emu since it hatched from an egg.  The emu has grown and now has it’s own baby.  The new emu baby has caused the daddy emu to be more protective and aggressive.  So Wilson carries the foam noodles to help keep the over protective emu at bay.

He even went as far as to design a hat with foam noodles to help while he cuts the grass.

Every time I see one out, I lose my mind with excitement. They are huge, which means a lot goes into having one, including cleaning up massive poops and slobber.

Small but oh so cool looking. I don’t know anything about their personalities, but again, when I see one, you’d think I saw a rock star.

Way too popular, but I think for a good reason. They make me laugh. If only they could swim.

And last but not least, my Golden Retriever Douglas! They are the best dogs on earth. Funny, mischievous, stubborn, sweet, and kind. The online community with devotion to this breed makes me feel normal in the obsessive love I have for them.
