Ghost have come a long way in just over a decade. I mean, they have scored Grammy honors and are now one of the hottest “new” bands on rock radio.
So, what did Ghost look and sound like during their early days? We’re here with the answer. The band released their debut album, “Opus Eponymous,” on Oct. 18, 2010, and performed their debut show on Oct. 23 the same year. The performance was at the Hammer Of Doom festival, and it didn’t disappoint.
It’s extremely fun to watch the group’s debut set, because they look so different than they do today, and they also sound raw- but still awesome. They’re also very serious on the stage. They probably had no idea of what was ahead for them, but judging by the audience’s reaction in this video, the crowd knew they were watching history in the making. Watch the video below.
